How long will my appointment be?
The initial visit will be about a half hour phone conversation, with a 1-2 hour follow up. The phone call gives me an idea of what to have ready for our appointment, and what areas to focus on during our appointment so that I can make the most of our time together. It is very helpful to fill out the Intake Form before our appointment so that we can get all the paperwork out of the way and focus on you and baby. My goal is to address everything possible in our first in-person visit to reduce the amount of follow-up appointments.

After your appointment, email and phone support is provided at no cost to you. I am here to help you and want to help you throughout your breastfeeding relationship.

What forms of payment do you accept?
I take cash or check.

Do you take insurance?
I am now an approved provider with Aetna insurance. I do not, however, bill insurance on a client’s behalf, but can work with you to find out if your insurance will cover my services. Under The Affordable Care Act, insurance companies are required by law to provide breastfeeding support, which includes Lactation Consultant Services. Should you need any other documentation for your claim, I would be happy to provide it.

Do you have a support group I can go to?
Yes! I host a free breastfeeding support group that is held every week on Wednesday at the Angelika Theater in Carmel Mountain at 10:15am, right before their “Crybaby Matinee.” Visit the breastfeeding support group page for more details. If you are unsure if you need an appointment, I highly encourage you to meet me at the group first.
